For those of you who have been enquiring from time to time whether Project Flow and Tracker 2 will see the light of day, I have earmarked the months between November and March to apply a number of feature and usability enhancements I have been working on recently. The idea is to present it at DrupalConDC 2009, and to that end I have made a session proposal:
The project has already come a long way since September, 2007 at Barcelona DrupalCon, and some of the practical objectives were underlined in refactored form at DrupalCampLA 2008, but as you can see from reading the proposal, there is still a great deal of work to be done to make sure a usable, on-the-hoof download will be made available. I am going to be working very hard on this, since I am convinced that it is the best contribution I could possibly make to the Drupal community.
I hope to receive the votes of those who have shown interest in the project along the way. However, I realize it might not be what folks are most excited about right now, in which case, if enough interest doesn’t get generated, perhaps a BoF session might be arranged.
In any case, I am very excited about sharing this project and I will be reporting often here on its progress.
